Founded by the late Yousuf Baker in 1947, the Dutco
Group of Companies is one of the oldest business organizations in the
United Arab Emirates and has a long and distinguished history. Dubai has
made astonishing economic progress over the past half-century, perhaps
unparalled anywhere else in the world: a sophisticated, cosmopolitan
metropolis has emerged from the desert sands, and the pace of change
shows little sign of abating. In this environment, the Dutco Group has
evolved and developed into a major business enterprise. We are proud to
present this overview of our diverse activities – and we look forward to
