Charity Amateur Golf Tournament for Dubai Autism Center
Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa presented the Dubai Autism Center with the cheque for AED 25,900. The funds were raised through participating fees, various competitions, raffles and direct donations during the Charity Amateur Golf Tournament for Dubai Autism Center that took place at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa on January 13, 2011, as part of five qualifying tournaments for the grand final which will take place in early April 2011.

cheque for AED 25,900. The funds were raised through participating fees,
various competitions, raffles and direct donations during the Charity
Amateur Golf Tournament for Dubai Autism Center that took place at the
Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa on January 13, 2011, as part of five
qualifying tournaments for the grand final which will take place in
early April 2011.
“We at Dubai Autism Center would like to
thank the hotel, club management and the organizers for holding the
event and for all the support and we look forward to working together
in the future.” Said Mohammad Al Emadi Director General of Dubai Autism
Center. “We were glad to be part of it and from now on would
like to work closely with the community and support the good causes
such as this one and look forward to work with Dubai Autism Center in
the future” David Thomson Regional General Manager of Jebel Ali Golf
Resort and Spa said. Jebel
Ali is the first club to finish the qualifying rounds this month, the
other four clubs that will hold the qualifying rounds are: The Els Golf
Club, Arabian Ranches Golf Club, The Montgomerie Golf Club and Emirates
Golf Club. Three top teams from each club will compete to be named the
champions of Charity Amateur Golf Tournament for Dubai Autism Center.

tournaments please contact the aforementioned clubs directly. “We
are very happy with the result of the tournament at Jebel Ali and
hoping that all the other participating clubs would generate the same
amount of interest from the players and we will be able to raise more
funds for Dubai Autism Center.” said Anna Gorski the Event Organizer,
“I would like to thank the management of Jebel Ali Golf Club and the
hotel for their enormous support and also I would like to take the time
to thank all the participants that took the time off their busy daily
schedules on January 13, 2011 to support this great cause, without them
this event would not be possible.” Three teams that qualified for the final from Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa are:
1st Team- Gavin Knowles, Steve Huber, Shayne Gee , Derek Lynch- Nett 60.3
2nd Team- Alan Drysdale, Geoff Jarvis, Duncan Watson, Richard Turner- Nett 62.2
3rd team- Dylan Fjellstrom, Niklas Wiktrom, Niklas Blomqvist, Filip Karlsson
